I bought 6 cartons of full fat pasteurised milk from Ivy House Farm, sold on Stowford Manor Farm, Trowbridge, as raw milk... The milk is pasteurised, but not homogenised. Although it is advertised as full fat, it has most of its cream removed after pasteurisation, I think. I put 3 litres in a big jar (about 5 inches wide at the top) and left it in the fridge to settle for two days before skimming the cream. There was barely a half centimetre layer of cream at the top!! They say it comes from Jersey cows whose milk is very rich in cream... I paid £1.20 per litre for a very unimpressive skimmed milk. What a rip off!
