What is your approach to teaching water safety and CPR techniques?
At Ivy Bank Swim School, we prioritize water safety and CPR techniques in our lessons. Our instructors are certified in CPR and first aid, and we teach students the importance of water safety rules and how to recognize and prevent potential hazards in and around the water. How do you handle students who may be afraid of the water or have had negative experiences in the past?
We understand that some students may have fears or negative experiences with water. Our instructors are trained to work with students individually to help them overcome their fears and build confidence in the water. We take a patient and encouraging approach to teaching, and we always prioritize the safety and comfort of our students. What is the maximum number of students per class?
To ensure that each student receives personalized attention and instruction, we limit our class sizes to a maximum of six students per instructor. This allows us to provide individualized feedback and support to each student, helping them progress at their own pace. What is your teaching methodology for beginner swimmers?
Our teaching methodology for beginner swimmers focuses on building a strong foundation of water safety skills and basic swimming techniques. We use a combination of games, drills, and exercises to help students feel comfortable in the water and develop proper swim strokes. Our instructors are patient and supportive, and we work with each student to help them achieve their goals. What is your cancellation policy for classes?
We understand that life happens, and sometimes students need to cancel or reschedule their classes. We ask that students provide at least 24 hours notice if they need to cancel a class. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the student will be charged for the class. We do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, but cannot guarantee availability.Reviews

I booked an hour to use the pool for Sunday 11th December at 3.00 pm. Turned up, managed to park up right outside the place. We arrived at 2 50 pm. No lights on, no sign of life anywhere at all, looked like it was all shut up. Was not sure whether I had to knock on the door of the house it is adjoined to. No notice or instructions anywhere at all and I am not In the habit of prowling round somebody's property to try and find somebody. I rang to say I was there and had to leave a message and waited till gone 3.10. Surely if somebody had booked an hours use - somebody should have been there, or a light on at the very least. Already having therapy lessons elsewhere, just needed to hire a pool for practice as suggested by my instructor. . Even now I am back home, nobody has replied to my answering message, no apology, not even to say WHERE ARE YOU. Strangely the website states it was closed at 2.00. Total waste of time, petrol and i paid for that hours hire of the pool. Won't be bothering again

It's great for us to go with our baby, and we book it every two weeks. However, getting in touch with the owners is nigh on impossible. I see why people on here say that they are rude, as I discovered that they live in the house next door, and I once saw the lady and asked her a question, and she brushed me off and said its best to call or email. I emailed regarding the very nasty neighbour a few doors down that harassed us for parking our car in 'her parking spot' outside her house (on a public street), and heard nothing back. The last few times we've been on a Sunday afternoon, and boy, was the place dirty. There was even sand on the floor in the pool. We are going to give it a few more chances as we live the size of the pool and privacy, but if it doesn't get better, we shall be looking elsewhere.

It's a good size pool with suitable water temperature. Perfect for a baby to get their first taste of pool swimming. Will definitely visit again. Owners are nice and relaxed. Only drawback is that the changing room is tiny. It's not easy to get in touch with the place over the phone.
