Recetionist Jackie - the most arrogant, rude, unhelpful, unsympathetic ,........ I could go on. I phoned to get an appt, at the request of a GP, to get my first repeat meds as I am fairly new to the practice. I explained I have just a week' s worth left - her reply "phone back at 8am tomorrow". I have been doing that for the past 3 days. I visited the surgery after the call and was directed to Angela in the pharmacy who was extremely helpful and kind and said she?would get back to me later. Thank you Angela.

This practice is an absolute joke currently off with severe sciatic pain and muscle wastage,I needed more pain killers as pain is so severe I've been off for 6 weeks from work and haven't even seen a doctor, can't get painkillers I need. Been ringing in day after day and waiting for between 60 and 100 minutes to get an answer only only to be told no appointments available this is after filling in online form and being told I need to speak to a clinician, there is no compasion or desire to get you back to work at all,the whole things a disgrace .only way I could get Meds was through 111 who were brilliant a trip to urgent treatment centre and a waste of 6 hours of my day all for what should be a 5minute phone call, Absolute Disgrace star is for answering the phone eventually and the minimum score I can give

I have been calling them for couple of days for appointments for 30 minutes from 8AM but no luck, when they picked up around 8:45 asked me to call back the next day at 8AM. And the I was calling them today after 9 and the call is always “failed” or the number won’t be recognised. It’s the worst system.

Getting an appointment is tricky to say the least, but I imagine this is the same in over subscribed GP surgeries - that all need help - across the country. Have never had any issues with the service and care provided to my family and am glad we're all patients there. Always helpful and all of the GPs and nurses are excellent.

You're better off using Google. I was misdiagnosed by the GP, turns out I had a brain tumour. My son was misdiagnosed with a dairy intolerance, turns out he had broncilitus. Another family member was told he was fine, but after test results were reviewed 9 months later it turns out he has cancer.
