Cuts a lot of the journey time when traveling to the cruise port from Surrey down the A3. Only takes exact money, so make sure you have some change in the car. Worth the toll charge to save time and avoid the M27. Good view of the cruise ship in ocean terminal as you cross the bridge.

Easier to use that I thought it might be. Just drive up to the barrier and use a contactless card. Saved me a longer drive so worth it.

Looks nice but only gets 2 stars as it's a ripoff and causes unnecessary traffic

How a toll bridge charges 70p in exact change only in 2020 is beyond me. Who on earth regularly has 70p in change on them? Contactless needs to be an option, it’s not difficult or expensive to set up, so it’s pure laziness or lack of willingness on the operators behalf. *edit* - since this review, the toll booths have been updated; the bridge now accepts contactless card payment and Apple Pay.
