Mental health charities get constantly slated. I have completed many of them with an array of companies, iTalk is by far one of my top ones. I completed the CCC course with (im so sorry I can’t remember their names) and it was so advanced compared to other courses and the leads were fantastic, they use techniques I’ve never had before and do so much for you I had also individual counselling before and after the course with Cloud, who was a godsend. He’s absolutely fantastic, has no judgement and so much knowledge. Thank you for supporting me and giving me the tools so safely navigate the world.

After being referred by 111 got told I was not eligible due to their computer information being incorrect. Then a few more weeks pass to get this sorted. Then I was promised an appointment after over a month of waiting despite being told a few weeks. Only for the appointment to be cancelled without actually notifying me of the cancellation. I am paying for private therapy now as clearly this company cannot provide what they are supposed to specialise in. Complete waste of taxpayers money. I can only advise not to use them as they will just add to whatever problems you have already and provide absolutely no help. Save your time and mental health go elsewhere

Truly awful experience with this company. I just felt like they were doing a box ticking exercise. The online course they got me doing to help with metal health was terrible and could have been written by a student. I couldn't help but feel that someone is making a lot of money from these referrals from the NHS with little care for the results. They don't even have fully functioning phones as they kept having to call back and repeat questions over and over again.

My mental health deterioriated rather than improved using iTalk. They rely far too much on questionnaires and scoring (it's a prerequisite for every session), and offer bog standard CBT worksheets to try and demonstrate how you can change things. And when you say you can't deal with all the forms and stereotypical exercises, they just abandon you. Dangerous.

Italk provided therapy for PTSD which occurred after the death of my daughter. Counselling was very helpful and I would definitely recommend this service.

Same as all the other shocking reviews. I was referred to the service when I was really struggling. Waited months for an appointment then got someone who was clearly a trainee, young and reading from a script. Had no idea about life experiences or trauma and was really patronising/clueless. I asked to be changed as I couldn't work with them. Waited months again. Then had appointments repeatedly cancelled with no follow up. For people dealing with serious mental health issues this is appalling, unsafe, and totally unfit for purpose.
