The service at the restaurant was not good. The waiter was rude and informed us that we could not spend our birthday at the restaurant and shared our birthday cake. It is part of East Asian culture to have birthday cake with friends. However the waiter did not acknowledge that East Asians would eat the cake and felt severely offended as East Asians.

Food wasn’t great and waitress was far too keen to take plates away. We were still chewing and there was still food left on the plate and she is asking us if we have finished whilst her hand is practically already under the plate. Most of our food got taken away from us. Have visited quite a few times before and loved it. But this visit wasn’t good at all.

Devine food & super service! The tiny wasabi-on-lime course absolutely blew my mind! YOU GOTTA TRY THIS! So good I had seconds! Highly recommend! Tricky with chop sticks but nobody minded that I used my fingers, people just found it funny. We had a fantastic meal here, the service was excellent and the food is devine!

What a lovely experience. The mojito was the best I’ve ever had in Leeds. The Ginger beer based mocktail was perfect. The appetisers were freshly prepared and delicious. All the staff were very friendly and made the experience even lovelier. This is my new favourite spot. Update 10/05/23 Visited for the second time and the service was 5*. I loved everything.

Reservations made in advance for 3 Had advised prior to booking about 2 of the 3 diners having a halal diet. Mia confirmed the fish dishes and chicken were all halal but due to supplier issues the beef and lamb were not. Server Helen was unsure about the menu and had to return to the kitchen to confirm with the chef what par of the menu was safe to eat for those of a halal diet. All sushi rice contained mirin, no suggestion to make any fresh rice without mirin. Soft shell crab was a favourite, the mayonnaise complimented the crab well. Chicken Katsu Bao Bun was delicious Overall the restaurant could have been accommodating towards being inclusive of the halal diet if they wanted to.

We went for a birthday. The food and service were excellent. We had the Samurai set menu. Everything was perfect and the setting was gorgeous. They kindly brought out a little extra sweet with a happy birthday message for the man of the day! Only thing is tips- those added via card on top of the service charge don't get shared out between staff I'm told. Our waitress Eivissa couldn't do enough for us, so I will definitely take a bit of extra cash next time.
