The mystery Shopper
For a few months I have been having battles with my phone and charging cables. To charge my phone battery I would need to fiddle with it for at least 10 minutes before I can get it to charge. Suddenly when I really need to be able to use my phone it just would not work, I could not charge my phone and it had completely ran out of battery. What do I do now? I can't afford a new phone so I rushed to ismash and was greeted by a gentleman named Nick who took a look at my phone and said he thinks it just needs a clean. I explained i have already tried cleaning the charger bit with a toothpick and Its just not working. He explained I could cause further damage by doing this and that the service for a full clean is £15 rather than me paying more than £40 to replace the charging bit. I obviously went for the £15 option as I don't have £40 or more in my account and he said he won't charge me if it doesn't work, which made me feel more at ease as I cant throw money away right now. Within a few minutes I watched as he carefully went to work and came back with a smile on his face and said it works and showed me the phone plugging in and charging without a single wiggle off the cable..... You are a superstar and a gentleman. If you have the same issue I had then go and see Nick! Seriously
