i attended the islington fire station open day it was wonderful we met the fire pup saw an old fire engine and my son got to slide down the firemans pole 4 hrs spent here it was wonderful and the firemen/women were the most lovely people ive ever met

Update 2018: the open day this year is Sat 29 Sept 11am to 5pm & it's also a Macmillan coffee morning so a fundraiser for that as well as a chance to look around and I imagine fun stuff for little ones too. Visit the annual open days, 2016 was Sunday 11 Sept. Great especially for little kids.
