FAQ

What is your school's philosophy on single-sex education?

Our school believes in the benefits of single-sex education for secondary school students. We believe it provides a unique opportunity for students to focus on their studies in an environment tailored to their needs.

Are there any co-ed programs or classes available at your school?

While our school primarily focuses on single-sex education, we do offer some co-ed programs and classes. For example, we offer mixed sports teams and some joint extracurricular activities. However, our core academic programs are still single-sex.

What is the ratio of male to female teachers at your school?

Our school values diversity and strives to provide a balanced and fair representation of both male and female teachers. Currently, we have a slightly higher percentage of male teachers, but we actively work to hire the best teachers regardless of gender.

How do you ensure that students receive equal opportunities for extracurricular activities and sports?

Our school believes in providing equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their gender. We ensure that all extracurricular activities and sports are available to both male and female students. We also work to provide equal funding and resources for these programs to ensure fairness.

What is the process for transferring from a single-sex school to a co-ed school or vice versa?

We cannot speak to the process for transferring to other schools, but if a student wishes to transfer from our single-sex school to a co-ed school or vice versa, they would need to follow the standard process for transferring schools in our area. This usually involves submitting an application and meeting specific criteria, such as academic performance and availability of spaces.

From my experience at this school currently it is a disgrace to all Schools. For example, when at the cantine you are met with a wastage of food as people get pushed around leading to them dropping the food they were currently holding. Furthermore, you will still get punished even if you are a victim of bullying, they teach you in assemblies to stand up for each other but if you do all you get in return is something like a yellow card (15 min detention) or a negative. In addition, they will scold you for having 5 negatives even if you have up to 700 positives. At last, they have a rule that if your device is seen, heard or used they will confiscate it thus taking it away, I suppose they think this will affect the child to push themselves more in studies but this just changes their attitude to learning and hate the teachers actions some of my peers even left this school for being such a disgrace. Be better, I&S.
