Unbelievable course. Played as a four ball with a spectrum of handicaps. Challenging course, take plenty of balls. A real pleasure to play, almost every shot required thought about club and ball placement. Genuinely unforgettable views.

This could be a great course, layout is good and views are fantastic but greens were so slow ! All they need was a cut and roll but it’s always the same and you can’t get the ball to the hole. We booked this two days before we played and they didn’t tell us we were following a society of around 20-24. This resulted in a 5 hour round and ruined our day as the majority were hackers. £50 is not cheap and that’s with a county card. The rest of our group have said they’ll never return. Shame

The course - despite a difficult winter was beginning to take shape beautifully, the green has been done probably two weeks before we played and maybe had another week to go to be really good. The layout of the course is excellent, no two holes are even remotely similar and the breeze makes for a real challenge. The pro was super friendly and the clubhouse, though a little dated made me remember golf of old with friendly members and staff. Even managed to chat to a couple of greenies on the way around who were also superb. Green fee was ÂŁ70 for a Friday morning and I would pay that everyday of the week to play this course.
