Sadly we have to give a bad review. After good experiences with other shops of your brand, like the one in Victoria Street and the one in Great Titchfield Street, we tried to catch some Too Good to Go-Boxes from this place, as it is located near our hotel. We arrived in the set time, twenty minutes before the official closing times, and within the time give to us by Too good to go, said platform which already took money from us. On arriving, the door was already closed, but the window next to the door was open widely. We tried to contact an employee by shouting through the window. After several attempts he poked his head through a little window, connecting the front of the shop with the kitchen, told us the shop is already closed, there is no food left, before he disappeared once again into the kitchen. We tried again to contact him, made sure we were at the right address, also by asking a bouncer from the tavern next door, and waited for several minutes for a response. We weren’t mad at first, we would have been okay with him cancelling the Too good to go-Order, in order for us to get our money back, but we were greeted with great ignorance. Some minutes later a woman came, who seemed to have left her charger in the restaurant, so the employee was forced to come to the front of the shop, to give the charger through the window to the woman. Sadly he was very rude to us, told us to leave at once, the shop is closed, there is no food left. Afterwards he closed the window right infront of our noses and went off to the back of the shop, without giving us the chance to explain our issues, or even looking to my phone and the Order on the screen. This behaviour left us really perplex and a bit angry. This is not a general complaint against the shop, as I wrote, we had good experiences with other restaurants of your brand, but a appeal against the behaviour of your employee in this special situation.

Island Poke is I reckon the best poke chain in London. My visit to this particular branch was a bit strange though. I queried the calories on the menu (I think it wasn't obvious whether the default calorie count for one of the standard bowls included one of the rice options by default or not) and the person who served me told me the calorie counts were all made up and that the government were overstepping by making calorie counts on menus mandatory in some cases. So that was strange but the bowl was good 👍

I arrived to collect an order from Too Good to Go at 8:30pm on Sunday. The restaurant was closed. What a tremendous waste of time. Never coming back!

My first time visiting a branch of Island Poke. Both staff working were really helpful recommending options and I wasn’t disappointed. The tuna was incredibly fresh and the portion sizes are fantastic. 100% a new lunch time destination. Vegetarian options: Aubergine and plenty of veg
