I have dropped off things for donations and found the staff lazy and rude. Reluctant to take items as do not want to carry them 2 meters to the back of the shop. The shop is hard to access so have to carry items a distance in, then they switch where they want them, sometimes the front or back of the shop. It is a 2m journey through the shop but they want you to carry it around the block to the other side. Other charities took items they refused. If they had been organised and had hard working staff they could sell goods on platforms online to bring in charity money too, but alas this requires effort. I will actively avoid this place and encourage others to do the same. There are other Islamic charities available. I emailed the charity complaints email and they did not reply.

Brilliant range of products. I have been a regular to Islamic relief Coventry Road for almost 6 years Alhamdulillah. I agree with the first part of the comment made previous to me that the organisation Islam relief need to invest more in the sense that shop needs more space so people can donate more larger goods e.g furniture etc. I urge everyone to donate here. Since I donate here and I am regular I have seen my items on the shelf for sale, so I have seen donations going out. Some of the sisters her are great and some are polite to some very rude customers. Well done everyone for trying your best to get the goods on the shelf. MAY Allah reward you all ameen

I'm really disappointed with the state of this place and it is not due to the volunteers who work there and try their best. Islamic Relief as an organisation need to invest more in their staff training and development to maximise the impact they make. I've been here to donate items but unfortunately on a number of occasions this has been difficult and sometimes things I've donated have been refused. But I don't imagine much will be done as they they do not respond to this platform. My advice is donate elsewhere to ensure your donations are received.
