Booked the mustang in March and agreed with three people (decision makers) that my deposit can be taken on card. 2 weeks prior to rental had 3 calls from them to confirm my booking and again all agreed to card deposit. At 12am (10 hours before my booking) they decide to go against their word and say cash deposit only! Terrible and poor service ended up not taking car as I couldn't raise the funds even though everything was agreed months in advance.
