We had Sunday lunch here and it was good and wholesome. I had haddock egg florentine that was really flavoursome and my wife had the halloumi salad which was also tasty and fresh. We both had the rump of lamb served pink, but I went for it medium done and it was good. My wife had it pink as recommended but looked red and nearly raw In the middle to both of us, and not so enjoyable I’m told. It all came with plenty of veggies. We both had the ginger and chilli sponge pudding with ice cream and hot toffee sauce. They were really tasty but goodness it was too much on top of what we already had and should have shared one. The service was efficient and pleasant and at a busy time. We couldn’t eat for the rest of the day!!
