Dear STEM fellows don't live here if you want to be able to focus on your degree. It's always loud we have 10 alarm checks a week as a pretext for more than room numbers employees to stick their noses into your room. Staff has no respect and they talk down to you even after stating I am PhD student and possibly even older than that girlie at the reception. Building is in a terrible state especially the watter pressure...

Since my first review was taken down, I have no problem writing another. This building has so many issues that are not fixed and it drives me crazy. The laundry machines are inconvenient and only hold 4 working washers in a building of 100+ students. Everything is dirty, including the stained rug floors, and the hair and maggot collecting kitchen. There has never been a day where my floor has not strongly smelt like diapers, beef, and feet. The vending machines work when they want to. Uncomfortable area, and unsafe with the security here, since they are most likely sleeping on the job. The train prevents me from ever thinking or sleeping, since it literally sounds like it is going towards my room every time it passes, in which is passes every 3 minutes. I have never lived in worse conditions as this and I seriously think it is hindering on my mental health.

Convenient location, although doesn't always feel the safest. Staff is great and kind, but management is useless. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Useless management: elevators have been broken on and off since September. There are technically 2 elevators, but there were only 2 miraculous weeks when both of them were working. It's more likely that none of them work than both, ridiculous. When we moved in, our kitchen had maggots in it because management was too cheap and stopped paying the cleaning staff. Fire alarms stopped working. Instead of fixing them, they hired 'security' to sit on chairs on each floor. These 'guards' do nothing but glare at you when you're going home. Why not spend that money on actually fixing the fire alarms? Oh, also because of the fire alarms. 'Safety inspectors' will barge into your room every 3 days to make sure the temporary ones still work. They don't care what you're doing, they won't go away. Once they knock, they will unlock the door themselves. Of the three ovens in our kitchen, none of them work. Instead of actually fixing things, management spent money on drilling holes into every single door in the building so they could put up cute little 'Fire door keep shut' on everyone's suite door. Don't you have better things to spend money on? Like fixing the elevators? Heating was not turned on until half the people on our floor emailed management about it. Amentities like 'movie room' is broken half the time.

The location is good, and the furniture is new, which is the main reason I choose this apartment. However, they schedule a massive 3 month from September to December when the places are full of residence. It is horrible to have people opening your door using their key for a fire door check, fire drill check mirror check. (the list continues) Sadly, they need to take down my door, which causes more inconvenience. I feel insecure when I need to be ready to open the door for EVERY DAY, including Sunday, for some third-party people. Not all the third-party constructors were kind and respectful; despite rude knocking, they scolded my friend for opening the door slowly. Another problem is the noise issue; there has been uninformed noise up to 57deci going around for three months. Imagine you are having online meetings and classes when a more than annoying Electronic Drill starts operating. You could not even know when it finishes. It is not a pleasant place to live for a master's student who needs to stay in the room for research and look for a job.

This place is a joke and a scam they ask people to book and when the rent is late little bit which can happen to anyone as international students abroad then they become very uncooperative the staff is rude you cannot talk to staff member’s they wount listen. They harassed a student and blocked key in the night and denied entry for the student her family member has to come down and take her away they did not allowed her to stay. She have lived in urbanest and chapters before but this kind of behaviour never happened. IQ is the worst place please don’t book here you can find better place’s like urbanest or chapter’s in the same price.
