    My daughter and myself visited for a tour and we were welcomed by a lovely friendly man. We were shown around the accommodation and was given a tour of a bronze room. Daughter has already booked her room but was still good to have a look around and she’s now looking forward for September to arrive.

    I recently spent a year at IQ Greenwich, which was once known as Scape. However, my stay wasn't without its hiccups. The fire alarm system, oh my god, it's enough to drive you round the bend. It went off at least once a month, usually in the middle of the night, and I'm still none the wiser as to why. It's not only disruptive to my sleep, but also a nuisance to have to evacuate in the middle of the night without any clear reason. The staff at IQ Greenwich were a mixed bag, some of them were lovely and helpful, while others were just a bit off. As someone who came from far away, I didn't feel very welcomed at the accommodation. The manager was also not very helpful, as it took two weeks for them to repair my broken kitchen and I had to eat out every day at a cost of £10 per meal, which was a huge inconvenience and expense for a student. Overall, I am happy with my stay at IQ Greenwich, but they definitely need to improve their service, hospitality, and facilities. The fire alarm system needs to be addressed and the staff should be more consistent in their friendliness and helpfulness. The manager also needs to be more responsive to maintenance issues. All in all, it's not the Ritz, but it served its purpose for my year-long stay.
