I have used P & R since it opened a good few years ago. I used it every day when I worked & before retiring. Unfortunately, it isn’t the same kind of friendly service any longer!!! The parking, frequency of buses, cleanliness is still excellent but I’m afraid some of the drivers are sadly lacking in any customer service skills. Obviously, I can only review the two drivers I saw today. But both of them plainly didn’t want to be there!! There was no smile or answer to a hello when getting on the buses from either of them. No response to a thank you when I got off either!!! Silence!!! The enquiry I had on my companions fare was not explained just the amount said & ticket produced!! No other words spoken,. Coming back the driver was even more miserable! In fact, I felt an inconvenience that he had to take me back to my car!! Just a little effort & a smile & a cheery hello to your passengers costs nothing but says a lot for the impression of the company. Im sure it would help lighten the mood of the work day for the driver too!! In a world filled with technology etc this small piece of human interaction means so much to so many!!

Reviewing from the point of view as an EV charge hub. 6 DC Osprey fast charges that all accept contactless. Great location, just off A12 at Ipswich and toilet facilities inside the park and ride building. Pizza Hut, Costa and B&M all within walking distance.

Not sure how you can rate a "park and ride" but here goes. Parking was easy as the car park was relatively empty and bus arrived on time. Journey time from bus station to town centre was accurate and bus only half full so plenty of seats. Return journey the same so, in all, not an unpleasant experience and certainly better than trying to park in the town. Busses were clean and drivers helpful.
