Pretty gruff service. The server needs to be aware of the fundamentals of politeness.

4 pcs of karage - tiny nugget portions, over priced and overcooked. At least get it fried right if you’re marking the prices up this high (£6,50). Such a turn off tbh. The ramen was alright though. Desserts were tempting but we skipped

Second visit - I was not disappointed and flavours were as good as the first time. The akamaru ramen is to die for (the broth had the right ‘creamy’ consistency) and the mochis were delicious. Staff was nice and professional. I hope to return soon!

Stick with the ramen. Any of the dishes outside of it tastes awful. Even then, the ramen is beyond mediocre. I've had much better in similarly large cities for much cheaper. Also, if they're going to charge a mandatory service fee, you'd expect the servers to remember something basic like bringing the cutlery, or at least pretend to be attentive to the needs of the customers. Not sure if this is an issue with the chain, as this is the first time I've been here, or the general trend with restaurants in London in general. Additional Note: I know the calling out in Japanese when a customer comes in is supposed to bring some authenticity, but it really disrupts the dining experience.
