If I could give this no stars then I probably would and here's why :) For around £150 the experience wasn't worth it at all. Even for those who don't know what they want to go into don't bother. You could learn far more by watching YouTube videos, documentaries, visiting museums and reading around the subject area than attending this programme and you'd come out more knowledgeable about the field of interest. The programme I attended was for engineering and it mainly focussed on aerospace but HEAVILY on materials engineering. We barely skimmed other fields because knowledge in engineering tends to be transferrable which I understand but it would've been nice to get an insight. Even then, I felt as though the structure of the session was kind of all over the place. One of the tasks was about Ammonia cracking and we had to create a diagram with inputs and outputs and what not. It was confusing and we didn't really get any guidance. At the end, they put up the answers, waffled and moved on. At the start of the session, they mentioned how one of the importance's of the programme was networking and there was even a dedicated section in the booklet provided for writing down the names and LinkedIn profiles of the present Industry executives. We didn't get round to that at all or maybe they forgot, but this experience definitely didn't develop any sort of network with industry personnel at all. Although few questions were asked to the executives as everyone was timid, the responses we did get from few questions were very them-oriented and focussed a lot on them which was good to get an understanding of what they did but more personalised advice would've been equally nurturing. I do feel bad for them however because it was incredibly awkward since no one was interacting at all. Even the building was very weird. It felt like I ended up in the backrooms of some place. The hall we were in were around 3 flights of stairs below ground floor and staircase to get there looked neglected. Even the lifts were scary to get into as they were covered in protective plastic and foam boards. I contemplated the legitimacy of the organisation, InvestIN. If your making that much money surely you could've chosen some place else to organise the event? Overall, I would say its a total waste of time and completely unnecessary. It didn't feel like I was investing into my future. It felt like daylight robbery and total deception.

Engineering course was a big let down for my son. The promised speakers didnot turn up. The promised demos were damp squibs. All feedbacks were refused as they were probably not 5 or 4 stars. Waste of two weeks and money spent. Forced Trustpilot to remove our feedback. Avoid. Feel scammed.

Insightful sessions. I participated in The Young Doctor Weekend and was pleased to meet and listen to the experts. The program covered big topics such as the life&duty as a doctor, and gave me some useful tips for applying to the medical schools. I especially appreciate that I was given an opportunity to speak directly to the medical students and doctors in UK, ask questions and express my opinions in the shoes of the doctors. Nice opportunity for a student who's considering the medical field as their future and wanting to explore the career path more, in depth!

I joined the programme thinking I would just get bombarded with lots of medical information but it was nothing like that at all. All the sessions were very entertaining and I enjoyed when they divided us into various groups and put us in breakout rooms to debate a topic. The sessions were also really interactive with the speakers stopping at different points to either ensure we understand or give us a chance to answer questions.
