  We hired the 1947 blue double decker bus from Yesteryear for our wedding to get me to the registry office and our guests from the registry office to our reception venue. Communication during booking and in the run up to the wedding was excellent and incredibly clear despite some slightly complex location and timing logistics and our guests loved the little road trip. Greg and Ken were helpful and friendly and we would definitely recommend booking a Yesteryear vehicle to others.

  The process from initial enquiry to the actual wedding day was very smooth and easy despite a couple of hiccups along the way. One of which was due to the fact that only one guest declined so we had more guests than available seats on one bus (not a bad problem to have I guess!) Greg very swiftly sourced a suitable second vehicle for us. The other was an unexpected vehicle breakdown the day before the wedding which is only to be expected from old vehicles. Again, this was very swiftly sorted by Greg and did not cause us any issues on the day. The drivers were extremely friendly, professional and suitably dressed in bus driver attire. The vehicles were immaculate and most importantly the guests absolutely loved their bus ride from the church in Oxenhope to Ponden Mill.

  I hired the 1948 Royal Bristol Coach for our wedding on 29 February in Leeds after having seen it parked outside our village church during the summer. Up to this point I hadn’t even considered hiring a vintage coach and I’m so glad that I did. The initial enquiry and deposit secured a coach and we were able to see all the coaches in the depot in Bradford before confirming that it was the Royal Bristol that we wanted. Greg contacted me during the week of the wedding to confirm timings etc and everything went according to plan. We had kept the vintage coach a secret from our guests and so it was a fantastic surprise and started the wedding off in great style. Driving through the centre of Leeds on a Saturday afternoon caused quite a stir with people waving and stopping to take photos. We all felt like royalty. I’d like to thank Greg and the driver for making the experience so easy, stress free and pleasurable. I would highly recommend Yesteryear to any bride and groom wishing to hire a vintage vehicle for their wedding.

  What an amazing way to get to the church on time. Our big green vintage double decker bus was immaculate and decked in the ribbon colour exactly as envisaged. The driver and his assistant were fabulous and our guests loved it and really got into the spirit of the day. We would highly recommend using Yestyear Vintage Vehicles, Greg is great to talk to and all correspondence was promptly dealt with giving reassurance we were in good hands.
