AVOID THIS COMPANY. I am a doctor person with a Powerchair and when I made the booking I gave them all the relevant information. When the bus arrived in Edinburgh the kick plate on the lift was broken , which the driver was aware if, and because of this I was unable to get my chair on the bus and I was unable to get off the the bus all the way from Edinburgh to Southampton. There was a toilet on the bus but it was beside a stairwell and was terrifying to use. On the way back up from Southampton the intercruise person at the port gave my disabled seat to someone else, who had not booked a disabled seat and they were refusing to move.While all this was going on we were standing outside in the pouring rain. When I was eventually able to get on the bus the only seat left for mu Mum ,who is my carer was upstairs, she is 76 years old has had a stroke and uses a walking stick and they told her she had to go upstairs. The disabled person downstairs had 2 careers I had none. I have repeatedly tried to contact them to no avail they never answer the phone. They spoiled the beginning and of my holiday, If u could give negative to zero stars I would.

A love of cruising and living in an area with poor transport links is problematic to say the least. Rail travel is next to impossible whilst carrying several pieces of luggage. That is where Intercruises, brilliantly, services people in our predicament. Travelling from Carlisle to Southampton is made the easier by the use of executive coaches, helpful and pleasant drivers and, importantly, well planned regular comfort breaks. Nothing is too much trouble. My wife and I, recently, experienced difficulties with catching our return coach home. In fact we missed our connection by one week due to illness. After informing the company of our status, to avoid delays to passengers and coach. Almost out of the blue we received a phone call in BARBADOS informing us we could use our original booking for a return to Cumbria should we wish to. Of course we accepted. How many companies provide customer services of this quality. Well done Intercruises. Our patronage is a GIVEN.
