I have met with Natasha for face-to-face as well as online therapy. I first had therapy with her when I was in a difficult place in life, not feeling that I could have a future. I have struggled with anxiety, depression, and some difficulties in my family - long-term problems. I think sitting with her in the therapy room was the first time in my life that I had simply sat with someone and talked about how I thought, felt and acted without feeling too burdened by how that might affect the other person. I was able to feel this way because of Natasha's calm and clear, but gentle, encouragement, and her professionalism. This experience allowed me to explore how I perceived things, where I felt conflict or difficulty or deep sadness or anger, with the guidance of another person, and without guilt or shame. I have also discovered joy, curiosity and pride that I didn't know I could feel. This gradual loosening of emotion has freed up space within me to begin to trust myself more and try to make changes happen. Natasha has been the person I have asked for advice or encouragement to do that from and that has been so helpful to me to have that ongoing support from someone with more life experience and an understanding of my needs. Many of the effects of therapy have been subtle, because they exist within me instead of on the surface. I think the experience of receiving genuinely helpful support, over and over again, changes a person; I feel different. I think that going to therapy, facing the idea that you might need help, that you don't know what to do but want to find a different way of being, is also a powerful driver of inner and outer change in itself. But finding the right therapist for you is important to make that work. Natasha has been right for me and I feel incredibly fortunate to have met her. Over the time I have had therapy, when I have a difficult emotion or thought, Natasha's voice and words often run through my mind and help me feel better. Other times, it's my own voice that I hear. Her style is flexible and tailored to what her clients need. This is in part due to her approach as an integrative therapist, but I think her patience, intelligence, care for her clients, awareness of social issues and genuine interest in understanding and honouring who people are must also be credited. She is very accomodating and kind, and runs her business in a way so that more people can access it who need it. I've found that in rare times where we have had any difficulty with the direction we were taking, we have been able to talk about it and fix those problems. When I first came to therapy, I could only answer "I don't know" to the questions. Many of my problems have felt impossible to change or even understand to me. I didn't know what I thought or felt or how to begin the process of therapy. Natasha let me take my time to get used to everything and become more comfortable with her, rather than insisting I make progress on a timeline or in a certain way. This was really what I needed. She also seems to have good intuition for when to push me a little, but I feel safe in that process because of the work we have done together. The dogs (optional) are a highlight of the therapy for me as an animal lover, helping me feel more relaxed and making me smile.

I met Nat when I was at a very low point in my life, and I can honestly say my time with her over the course of several years truly changed me forever. I had seen several counsellors before her for varying spells, but I found that Nat was a far, far better counsellor. This was apparent to me from the get go. I felt instantly at ease in her presence. She is incredibly perceptive, kind, thoughtful and insightful, and always seems to cut to the heart of complex issues in a way that makes all the fog disappear. Shes also not afraid to tell you the truth, even if it isn't what you want to hear, but need to accept to help you grow. I have sent several others her way, who have found her to be immensely helpful too. Comes very highly recommended. Thanks Nat 👍

Natasha was my therapist while I was in training to be a counsellor myself. She helped me through some challenging times for which I am forever grateful. She provided a space to let me just be me and to move forward with the skills to manage lifes ups and downs. Now some years later she is my supervisor for my own private practice. She has given me confidence to take these steps and is just a wonderful person to talk things through with.

I can't recommend Natasha enough. I have seen her both face to face and over zoom call to help me deal with the issues I have. She is friendly, non judgemental and I have been able to tell her things that I have never opened about to anyone before. I'm not where I want to be yet but I know that with Natasha's help and support I will overcome the problems I have.
