This company has been giving me a very hard time since I used them few months ago. I paid their over-priced fees to insulate the loft as they advised it is causing damp to my ceiling. I also paid for the work they recommended in regard to the anti-damp paint, extractor fan, etc. All damp is now back and much worse. Although they told me that they will deal with it for free if it comes back in less than a year, they have just lied to me on phone saying they have “proof” that they did not do work in my house to stop the damp. They literally said that they are not accountable for the work they carried out. NEVER USE THEM Edit: After posting this review I received an email threatening me that if I don’t take it down, they will not even fix their cowboy job. No acknowledgment of what health issues they potentially caused to my little kids. This is horrible! STAY AWAY OF THEM. Edit 2: I phoned the company and made an official complaint about the threats and was told that the staff members responsible for that will be disciplined. I was given a date after a month from now for them to come and do proper repairs. I will update when this happens. Final Edit: The only polite manager I spoke to there did as promised and sent 2 workers who applied anti-damp paint ON the damp WITHOUT removing the actual damp or fixing the cause, which I originally paid for. I asked one of the workers if the damp will come back in a couple of weeks and he said “Yes”. I now have to arrange for a proper company to come and re-do everything that this company ruined. What a waste of a lot of money and time!

My parents’ boiler had stopped working in October 2020, and they had been made lots of promises from another company that it would get replaced for free under ECO, but 5 months later and after a very cold winter I had decided to search elsewhere and came across Insulating Homes Ltd. Within a week they had arranged for an energy assessor to visit the house. 2 days after his visit, the cavity wall insulation was done and the following day the boiler was replaced! Although the boiler was free we decided to get a slightly bigger/more powerful model thus had to pay a £400 surcharge for this. If we had got the exact same size it would not have cost anything. I could not believe how quick everything was! I just wish I had found them sooner. Thank you for your help!
