What a fantastic bunch they all are at the Burnley inspire. My husband has been going to meetings after work on a evening as he was a functional alcohol. He decided he wanted to do the detox whilst on a 2 week holiday from work. Started with librium 1st week, 1st day he was very anxious but the nurse pauline and andy the doctor reassured he would be fine and he was not as bad as he thought, we went every morning to see Pauline who checked on him and even called him before she finished het shift. After a week he is now just on acamprosate to take away the craving He doesn't feel the need for a drink but feels a bit low he is doing great but still early days. As a wife it has been hard trying to get him there in the 1st place that is the 1st step and making him realise what he can loose. If in doubt call inspire they are fantastic more one to one than the AA Big thankyou to Joe and Pauline the nurses and Andy the doctor fantastic
