Called for a warrenty repair and Insinkerator just give you a local 3rd party repair person to call. I also called this company and they asked me to support my address and after that it all went quiet. They never called back and I got my local plumber to fix it the issue and I paid for it. Very poor service

This type of equipment should be banned because is not a sustainable way to deal with the waste problem. The equipment is already illegal in commercial kitchens and should be in houses. The fact all food waste should be processed into biogas which is not a facility in the wastewater recycle plants and end up creating more problems than benefits. Recycle means separation and flushing everything to the pipework is not.

We were sold the insinkerator with the understanding that is could destroy everything apart from oyster shells and banana skins. Jump to the real world and it struggles with vegetables. I've never had to unblock a sink so much in my life, almost a monthly job. A complete waste of money

Sadly not the product we hoped for, bought this at the Ideal Home Exhibition, over £500 so not cheap and had it fitted, at first it was brilliant, no kettle and instant hot water was such a luxury, but a year later it leaked and we had to have it replaced which was under warranty, this new tank lasted 18 months and now leaking again, but unfortunately no longer under warranty as the tank only has 2 years. Now I can understand sometimes things break, one is unfortunate but to have 2 tanks go wrong in only 2.5 years is beyond frustrating, they are not cheap but sadly not a quality product, we were offered a 20% goodwill discount off a new tank, which as just shy of £200 not cheap and dubious that that will only last 12-18 months!! I am not made of money,!! We took the tank apart and its a small reservoir that has split, if only they could supply this small plastic part, but no they want to charge £200 for a whole new tank, buyer beware.... £500 for 2.5 years use - that one hell of an expensive kettle!!
