Such an amazing job, I live in an Edwardian terrace that the floors needed a little care and attention through the downstairs hallway, dining room and lounge. Not only was Rob really helpful on what would be best to repair, stain and finish with a visit and a cost within days, Rohan completed all restoration to include the steps needed to get the best result. Once the work started Ray put down some test patches so we could decide what finish we preferred. From start to finish the whole process was very professionally conducted. We engaged Inner Space Flooring to revamp the aged parquet floor in our newly bought home. The owner, Rob, gave us confidence in the ability to renovate the floor as he had done some on the same street previously. The floor was prepped, gaps filled and areas repaired - it was the original floor with bitumen backing so had seen a fair amount of wear. We had initially opted for a colour; however there were issues with the application and the specific wood we had that meant this ended up looking terrible. We discussed options around this and decided to leave the floor in it's "natural" condition, which in hindsight was actually a better result than if we had gone with a colour. The colour was removed and a clear finish applied. Unfortunately when redecorating later and looking at the floor more closely there were areas that the "failed" colour had remained on the floor, in extremely small spots over a large area but with the effect that it looked dirty. After initially attempting to address these locally, when I marked out the number of colour spots (easily over 100), it was decided that to get the best outcome that the floor needed to be re-sanded and refinished to remove these and provide a perfect finish. Rob was adamant from the beginning that he'd leave us satisfied, and he absolutely has. I also must wholeheartedly thank Radu from Inner Space who worked tirelessly to complete the job, and gave honest and friendly advice throughout the process. Although it ended up taking longer than planned, and more labour, Rob didn't ask for a penny over the original quote and we are really pleased with the final floor. I can't recommend them enough.

The team treated our home with respect, they were a pleasure to deal with.
