The best soft play in Derby & surrounding area in my opinion. The area is huge and has different areas for all ages. The staff are friendly, the place looks as if it's cleaned daily from top to bottom. Food is a little pricey but no more expensive than other soft play centers we've visited. They have other activities on different floors which cost extra but also seem worth the money. We paid for our two year old to do the interactive projection room however we found he was a little young to get much use out of it so bare that in mind when taking little ones. They have a no outdoor food or drink policy but we've been allowed to bring in our own squash before.

£14 per child for 2 hours which I think is a little high as most other indoor play areas around derby are around £6 per child. On top of this there's no free parking. The children really enjoyed the soft play though and it is very large. I ordered a hot drink which unfortunately came in a very dirty mug so I had to drink out of the opposite side and I ordered a jug of squash with 2 cups, the cups however had a very bad smell to them (Wet dog). Luckily my children didn't come out of the play area for a drink so I just went to a shop after we left to get them one.

What’s happened here? Our son loves going here as the soft play has always been well looked after. However, the last few visits have been steadily worse. Whether it’s the card machines not working at reception, or the interactive room barely having one thing that works, or just the general wear and tear of the play area. The place is now just in a sorry state and needs some TLC. We saw gaps in the netting that a little one could easily get through, and into off limit areas which is quite dangerous! The interactive room should be renamed the inactive room now as hardly anything in there actually works! Shocking really as our son enjoys playing in there. Real shame as this place has just stood still and seems like the staff don’t inspect the place that thoroughly, or if they do, the maintenance is just not prioritised. There are better, well looked after soft plays around.

Unfortunately this Softplay never feels clean, it often has a feet smell and is always understaffed. The food can be very mixed. I once ordered avacado on toast for £7 and it was guacamole on dry toast. In half term I absolutely wouldn’t bother
