I went for a colonoscopy today, And from the moment I walked through the door I felt relief after being on edge for the past few weeks. The surgeon was very professional man whom talked me through my procedure & was in the theatre for 20mins & recovery for the same period. Many thanks to all the nurses whom cared for me your a credit to your company InHealth thank you. David Atkinson.

I was hugely impressed with the kindness, efficiency and care I received when I had the colonoscopy. From the moment I arrived I was treated helpfully and with empathy. The Colonoscopist Jemima, the nurses Marygem and Emma, the man who took my initial information and the nurse who saw to my post procedure care were all a great tribute to the NHS and have rave reviews from me. Thank you.

I attended the clinic today for a colonoscopy and can honestly say the staff and service was outstanding. The Nurse Endoscopist was fantastic. She offered me reassurance throughout the procedure and explained everything to me as we went along. I was really apprehensive about the procedure but there was really no need. I opted to have no sedation but did use gas and air. I was fully supported with this decision by the nurses and felt completely in control. Thank you all so much!

Friendly, professional team who did what needed to be done with minimum fuss and pain. All really nice people that I dealt with and who were reassuring when I needed them to be.

Colonoscopy Oct 5th Felt really well looked after today throughout the whole process. Staff were all friendly and caring. I opted not to have sedation only gas and air. The first minute was a bit painful but after this it was no longer painful. Also the place was super clean. My results were thoroughly expained afterwards. A big thank you to all the staff :)

I had an Colonscopy done at this health centre today ,I’d like to say what a nightmare avoid at all cost . Firstly had to wait an whole hour before my appointment took place then when I was seen I told the nurses I needed sedation as I had this procedure done 15 years ago pain free at the JR hospital in Headington Oxford. So was going on based on that when I was seen it felt like I was given hardly any sedation at all and had to sit through the most painful experience of my life I even kept saying it really hurts but no one listened to me and what took the biscuit was when I was given my Colonoscopy report and under the part sedation it said patient was comfortable talking and comfortable throughout .I only read this report when I got home as it was shoved in my bag by one of the nurses . In this day and age considering my 15 years ago appointment experience was pain free I am soo disappointed with this health centre and its failings . I just hope no one else has to go through what I went through .

I had my appointment at the InHealth clinic in Bicester. Every member of staff I spoke to were lovely and very understanding. I was really nervous about my procedure and they picked up on this and spoke to me about the whole process and what would be happening. I waited around 5 minutes to be admitted and another 5 minutes before my procedure took place. The three ladies in the room with me at the time were all very friendly and kept talking to me throughout and when it got really quite painful (my own fault for not saying yes to sedation) they spoke to me and reassured me it would last just seconds. It did, I had gas and air ready and by the time I had a few puffs of this the pain had settled. I was told everything looked ok and nothing to worry about. The whole thing didn’t take too long at all. I was then taken to a recovery room where I was given a tea and biscuits and had all my paperwork explained to me by a lovely gentlemen that made sure I was completely ok and felt well. As I opted to go without sedation I was able to leave straight after as long as I had somebody to drive me home due to the gas and air. My experience with InHealth was amazing from start to finish.

I wanted to write a review as I was booked in for an Endoscopy (Gastroscopy) appointment and spent a week reading reviews and experiences which put me in a state of dread. The place is right besides the multi-storey carpark in Bicester, bit of a weird location but easily accessible. On entering I waited 10 mins or so for a nice man to come out who took my blood pressure and gave me some medicine to remove bubbles in my stomach. All fine. I was then moved down to a waiting room where I sat alone for about 45 mins without anyone really telling me what was going on or to say things were behind schedule. I was about 1 hour past my appointment time and this was my only negative experience. I was then called into the treatment room which freaked me out quite a bit as there were several people and machines. I opted for local anaesthetic only and they explained this was not pleasant and the worst part and they were right. A few shots up the nose which feels like shards of glass but within seconds your throat freezes. It's a very strange and unnerving experience and I wished I read this before; I felt a mild wave of panic but the doctor and nurse kept reassuring me that I could breath and they were right. Within a few mins they were inserting the camera up my nose and down my throat; I didn't feel it in my nose and only tiny bit in my throat at which point they asked me to swallow it and it felt just like swallowing a large pill. I could feel a bit of poking around and did a few very minor heaves but nothing like being sick or what I had read before. The nurse was fantastic at keeping me calm as was the doc who spoke throughout. It's a little uncomfortable but I think a lot of that is mental; the fact you can't swallow and that you have this huge rod inside you is frightening but the trick is to just accept it and don't fight it. Once I took this on-board it was relatively fine and the whole thing was done in 5 mins. I had a very sore throat for about 4 hours after but woke up the next day feeling fine. I hope this helps others.
