Wow wow wow. Andy was a key part of my recovery from a particularly nasty and recurring slipped disk flare up after pregnancy. She has helped me gain mobility back as well as build up my core strength, which has made life simply better. In addition to the physical side, she's a phenomenal person & teacher and I am glad our paths crossed :) you'll be lucky to work with her if a spot opens up in her books!

Andys been helping me since a suspected prolapse end of last year - she really listens to your body and meets it where it is. Result is, just a couple months on I’m not only pain free but stronger than before the injury and more confident I won’t get hurt again. My postures better, my body feels free-er and I’ve learnt loads of useful techniques to manage my injury in the day to day due to Andys laser focus and obsession with technique. She’s a joy to be taught by!!

I started online work with Andy a year ago for help with indigestion and to help build my abdominal strength after a stomach operation. The results have been transformative. My symptoms have ceased and the breath work has become a pillar beyond our sessions. Andy is impressively adept at being able to run the sessions online. Her vast experience shines through as she can pick up small nuances in your body through the camera, and her creative explanations makes it easy for you to understand the subtle movements needed for each exercise. Andy is thorough in her approach, understanding your needs for the week and always explaining the anatomical basis of her assessment.

I was cynical at first about working remotely, but Andy's ability to accurately identify what is going on with my body over Zoom blows my mind. She has a wonderful way of talking me through the exercises in a way that just makes sense. I feel more connected with my body than ever, my movement is more fluid and pain at an all time low. I look forward to my sessions every week.

Following a back injury last year, I started individual sessions with Andy. I had previously had very poor mobility in my back, coupled with lower back pain, from years of poor posture at work and too many hours hunched over a laptop writing my PhD. The memory of the pain was so bad that I could no longer sit at my desk anymore. My back problems started to affect other areas of my life, in particular stopping me from running, playing with my kids, sitting comfortably on the sofa, all sorts. Fast forward a year and my pain has gone. I can sit at my desk, I can run without any pain, I can sit on any chair or sofa and relax into it. My running speed has increased by 1 minute per km. This is nothing short of incredible. I have learnt so much from Andy. Her expertise and insight have been a revelation, the results incredible. One key lesson has been about breathing awareness, and how if I breathe properly, I release body tension, and also pain. I wasn’t even aware until Andy spotted it that I was clenching my jaw a lot; when I release my jaw tension, back pain melts away. Such a simple technique, with profound consequences! I can hardly believe how far I have come, under Andy’s careful guidance, and feel so positive about the future and staying in good health. On top of all this, Andy is an amazing person - genuinely caring, kind, and with a very warm personality and lovely sense of humour. I cannot recommend her more highly!

I work from home on my laptop for hours every single day, sometimes from the sofa (ouch!). I had the pleasure to work for a few months with Andy and the results are outstanding. Not only has my posture improved, but my breathing style has completely changed. I never realised I was quite a shallow breather. She taught me easy exercises I can do also by myself to increase strength in my abdomen. GAME CHANGER! I can't wait to go back to London to keep working with her. I highly recommend Andy to anyone improving their lives, starting from their back! Andy is really amazing. Going for a class with her is a real treat and the first time in my life I’ve teally enjoyed exercise. I feel like she has completely changed the way my body moves and this was really important to me after having a child and despite losing the baby weight just feeling much less energetic or good about myself. My core feels like me again. She is also really good at pacing things according to your mood (or level of sleep deprivation if you’re a new parent). I cannot imagine my week without this now. Highly recommended.

I have been seeing Andy primarily concerning very complex ongoing shoulder issues. I started seeing Andy since the effectiveness of hospital physio had plateaued out. We have done mainly neurokinetic shoulder work and some core work. While there is some way to go, working with Andy has improved matters no end. She is warm, professional and knows her stuff. She is also very good at explaining what is going on , what she is doing and why (and you can have a laugh with her too). She often provides helpful videos and support in supporting you to do work at home. I wouldn't still be with her if this wasn't so. I can't recommend her highly enough (and if she can't help you or feels like you need to see someone else to go further she will say so).
