I was given incorrect information on how to sedate my cat, which led to a stressful vet visit. When I called to tell them that the sedative wasn't working, prior to the visit, I was told that I and my partner both did not understand the instructions. When we arrived, the person at the desk confirmed we were given incorrect information, but did not apologise. The vet was professional and obviously caring toward my cat, but not the least bit friendly toward me and I left feeling like I was being judged for traveling with my cat. I was also told that I would be contacted to do the health certificate steps, but never was. As a result of this experience, I am cancelling my pet's health plan with them and have found a new vet.

We have used Spring Lodge in Chelmsford for a few years now and after moving, Ingatestone is now our closest branch. All staff at the three branches we've used have been very friendly and professional, but for a dog who is nervous of going to the vet, the Ingatestone branch is definitely the best location as it's tucked away on a quiet road with minimal distractions. Special thanks to Kirsten and Dee who made it as stress free a visit as possible!

The vet (Neil) was so good! He explained the options for the treatment of Herbert's wound and did what he need to do quickly and without distressing him. The receptionist and nurse greeted us in a friendly way. His cone was fitted easily with no trouble. Lovely practice, would recommend π
