    Great food. Good beer. Lovely setting with lots of history and nice, compact beer garden. However.. On my last visit, both me and my 10 or so friends had numerous incidents over the course of the afternoon with unnecessarily rude bar staff. Such a shame. I did ask to speak to one of the senior members of the team but "they were too busy". No one came. I've been going here 28 years. No more. Alas.
