  My wife and I recently chose Indus to cater our wedding. There were a couple of reasons we went with Indus, the most important reason being that they would cook the chapatis and naan "live" on site. This was promised to us repeatedly by the gentleman in charge of our event. The food we were served tasted good but the waitstaff were miserable, some tables being served their main course when other tables had just finished theirs. Some tables weren't even served drinks for the toasts after the speeches were made. One of our guests went to the kitchen tent to ask the staff to cook the naans a little thinner. When he went in was told the bread was not being cooked on site and were merely being re-heated on site. As was the food. Despite repeatedly promising to cook live Indus had lied to us. We really regret not having gone to a different caterer now. The final straw was when the event manager verbally abused one of my relatives from India, who had asked for a plate of food to be kept aside for another one of my uncles who was arriving shortly after dinner. When this plate of food was not saved my uncle was told "all the food is gone" repeatedly by the event manager. When asked if there was anything he could do to rectify the situation he insulted my relative in hindi quite abrasively in words I do not want to put up on this review. The event manager's behaviour was unprofessional and hurtful. Our experience with Indus has left my family quite hurt and insulted, which is not how a professional catering service should conduct business. Hence the poor rating and bad review. Please bear in mind their waitstaff are abysmally poor. This alone should steer you away from Indus.

  Originally booked Indus for my wedding 2 years ago but had to postpone twice because of the pandemic. Very poor communication throughout and the number on their website may as well not work. 6 months before the wedding we found out they had gone into insolvency and we therefore were scrambling to find a new caterer. This company is a complete scam, I don't know how they managed to function this long. We are pursuing legal action to get our money back. Thank god we found Preeti Catering who were absolutely exceptional and excellent communicators. Our wedding day was incredibly and everyone loved the food so much..I wish we had just gone with Preeti Catering in the 1st places now. Do not book with this company!

  We originally booked for a wedding reception in summer 2020, and had to postpone twice due to government guidance at the time. Whilst the food might have been good and the front-of-house staff helpful, the service provided as a company and specifically the management has been diabolical. We were informed by a third party that they weren't going to be fulfilling their commitments 4 months after they ceased trading (or going by previous reviews much longer!). There are a lot of unanswered or inadequately answered questions, and I would urge any customer to be very wary of any future dealings with any companies that Mr Gurbind Rehinsi is associated with, particularly if you are relying on a service for large sums of money.

  I booked Indus from last September to cater for my wedding this September. My fiancé and I waited until the 19th of July for things to open up as we weren't sure how the lockdown rules were going to affect us. We tried to contact Indus via phone and email yet no response, straight to voicemail. So we went to see their business in Chadwell Heath 20th July last week and were surprised to see it closed, the doors bolted and locked, especially since it was listed as open on Google. We asked the neighbouring business if Indus are open and they claimed they went bust DECEMBER 2020. So only after a couple of months of booking them, paying a deposit, they closed down and ran off with our money, without informing us or any of their other clients know. So now we're trying to get a caterer. This company and it's people are straight up cons

  Unprofessional, unresponsive and extremely poor service! Even rating this company a 1 star is a joke. They simply do not care about you or your functions and just want your money! I was supposed to get married on the 2nd July 2021 which Indus was aware of since March 2020. Unfortunately my venue was a quarantine hotel and I was informed by someone else that there is a possibility that event would be cancelled at that venue. Since I heard about the news, I have been trying to get a hold of Indus who have done nothing but simply apologise. My dates are still for the 2nd July but Indus have not provided me any service whatsoever and are retaining my deposit claiming I am not entitled to a refund even though they have not helped me in any way. Absolutely disappointing service. I am still yet to hear back from them despite my wedding being this week.

  We had a wonderful experience booking our wedding catering with Indus Catering. From the beginning Mina was very helpful and accommodating to our questions and our budget. She thoroughly explained the process and checked in after each appointment, closely working with us to build an amazing menu for our wedding day. On our wedding day (in August 2019) the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! We received so many compliments from family and guests at how great the drinks, food and dessert were, in addition to how professional and efficient the team were on the day. The drinks were beautifully displayed and served during cocktail hour, and they also setup all of the plates/silverware. Menu cards were provided for each table alongside drinks (optional), then each course was served to guests family style, meaning they had lots to choose from and it was always refilled in a timely manner. The team were brilliant, working with our venue and wedding co-ordinators to ensure everything ran to schedule, and I still highly recommend Indus Catering to friends a family till this day!
