We got recommended Indique, and I must admit, on the way there, we were googling photos of the food, and I was ready to go somewhere else. Small plates with fancy swirls of sauce on the plate—not what we usually go in for when we have a curry—don’t overcomplicate it. However, this place is sublime; I’m glad we didn’t go elsewhere. Service was attentive and welcoming, and patient with our Young, fidgety kids. They were very accommodating when we were late and suggested different dishes and accompaniments. Then the food. Wow. Full of flavour. Fresh. The meat was tender and well-spiced. The heat was perfect too. Naan? Fluffy. Rice? Buttery. Lamb chops? You need to eat it to believe it. Indique has become our favourite curry in Manchester. Nice work.
