The staff were very kind, polite and helpful. They were guiding people with mistakes in their applications and documents and letting them re-apply the same day without having to go through the process all over again. Remember to take a printout of your appointment and a photocopy of your passport (which seemed to be the most common documents missing). Another mistake was choosing the wrong nationality in the application form. You must find United Kingdom from the drop down menu and not UK subject or anything else as there are many confusing options and it is easy to make that mistake. There is a computer inside for applicants to use if necessary. I went 10 mins before my appointment time and went in pretty quickly and finished the entire process in 45minutes.

Terrible service - we had to queue outside on a road for 90 minutes before being taken inside and having to wait another hour for our ticket number to be assigned. Unfortunately we were unable to get our visa due to having to submit our passport for 2 weeks and travelling before this. Be warned, you should get this process done before booking travel as it is laborious.
