The only thing nice about this restaurant is its ambiance. Rude staff and food wasn’t tasty, they couldn’t even get a basic dish like butter chicken right. First they showed us a takeaway menu to lure us in and when we saw the dine in menu, the prices were circa 50% higher. Disappointed for the price I paid for the food and service!

Yesterday we went to have food after having a visit to Dynamic Earth. We got to know this restaurant from the booklet guide.. Being an Indian we were craving for home food. When we entered the restaurant the staff asked us to settle down and handed over the menu card, while taking the order person was on phone. Food was okay okay but the staff was unwelcoming and too much of attitude. The behavior of all the staff members makes you feel uncomfortable. I have dined in all types of places be it a Michelin star or a normal restaurant but have never experienced such cold response from any other place. They need to start greeting customers with a smile and make them feel welcomed rather giving a non welcome gesture... Don't go there especially if you are a tourists like us.

TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. On our previous trip to Edinburgh we had a brilliant experience here with a lovely welcoming staff at lunch time. However, last night we had the displeasure of being served by who we believe is the owner as he clearly only cared about money. We felt rushed in and rushed out, his service was terrible and not only to us but other tables which was extremely uncomfortable. When misunderstanding my boyfriend he would shout “eh” in his face which I noticed he did with another table of young people. We believe we were overcharge however we were too intimidated to say so in such an unfriendly environment. When asked to leave a tip on the card machine we felt pressured to do so as he literally stood over us and watched. I have seen he replies calling those who leave a bad review a “liar” instead of apologising to a paying customer for a bad experience and trying to make it right.
