Lovely authentic Indian restaurant. I would personally rate this higher than the famous Dishroom. We ordered 4 curry dishes - lamb, chicken, fish and mushroom. You can clearly taste the difference between them. The restaurant pays an effort to use the curry that best suits the ingredients. My personal favorite is the fish one - fresh fish chunks soaked in creamy curry sauce, with a hint of sweetness from tomatoes. I also really enjoy the naans. Peshwari (naan with coconut and nuts) is an absolute must order. It is soft and fragrant, a perfect match for the curry dishes. I could have finished the entire basket by myself! The only complaint is that the restaurant is quite noisy so it's a bit hard to have a proper conversation. But what can I say... It is a very popular place.

We decided to try Indian City restaurant because we were staying nearby and could see how popular it was. We weren’t disappointed. The food is excellent. It is a feast for the eyes and taste buds, beautifully presented, delicious, nicely balanced for flavour and richness. Also good value. We wanted to go again before we left London but couldn’t get there. One week and halfway around the world later, I still think of the food. Guaranteed, we will be back and will be looking to dine here many times on our return!
