I would LOVE to give this attraction 5 stars, the interactive exhibits, lay out, staff and show were honestly brilliant. I had my 8 and 2 year old with me and there was things for both age groups. In addition to which the young lady and gentleman working that day were truly exemplary. So patient with my over excited budding astronauts and Thier tireless questions and enthusiasm. The time spent in the dome was very informative and interactive, felt completely immersive and very in depth considering the audience was three bouncy excited kids! Sadly, and I HATE to do this, hence why it's taken me 24 hours to post this, the pricing of the tickets does not reflect the size of the attraction. There is one singular room with less than 15 interactive exhibits and then the dome itself. We filled about 1.5 hours here and that was stretching it, when compared to the entire day that can be spent at similar experiences like EUREKA in Halifax for around the same price or the science and industry museum in Manchester or Liverpool for free! Several small locations like this in the lake District have come together so visitors can buy a single ticket for multiple attractions such as the lakes aquarium, steam train and Windermere ferries. We visited all three of those for only £8 more than this attraction. It might be worth looking at collaborating in this manner with other local attractions to make the price point more reflective of what is to do there. I really hope this is taken as it is intended, we loved our visit and the children have asked 254369900999999000000 times to come back already and we likely will in the summer when visiting other things in the area.
