I would 100% recommend using these guys. They were a pleasure to work with and got all 4 of our safes out of the building in 2 hours, 1 was a huge double door safe as well and they were in 3 different locations in the building. They are complete pros, I found it quite fascinating to see how they moved the safes around.

We used Independent Safes to open an old safe for which we had misplaced both keys. They quoted us a fixed price which while not the lowest (which was from a man with a baby crying and a dog barking in the background?!) was competitive. They were very professional and the engineer courteous. Despite us having knocked the door handle off in a vain attempt to open the safe without the need to call anyone. Their engineer politely informed us that this would in fact make the job considerably longer. However he assured me that - on this occasion - there would be no increased charge. Which made a pleasant change from all these Tradesmen who try to get in the door - before hiking their original quote up considerably - before work even begins. The engineer claimed never to have found a safe that couldn't be opened! Apparently some just take longer! Our safe finally gave up its contents after 45 minutes of quiet fiddling (i don't know the secret to how they pick it!) and we once more got our hands on the contents therein. They e-mailed the Invoice the next day without prompting. Not sure if they use ex-bank robbers - but all in all - Independent Safes were an absolute pleasure to deal with. From start to finish... I would recommend them without hesitation. Finally - in case any of you are thinking that this review was composed by a friend or a company employee - i openly state that i have no connection with Independent Safes. In fact - as i intend to take much better care of my new safe keys in future - i don't expect to need them again any time soon!
