FAQ

What is the process for becoming a foster parent with your agency?

To become a foster parent with our agency, you must first complete an application and attend an initial meeting with one of our staff members. You will then undergo an assessment process which includes a background check, home study, and training. Once approved, you will be matched with a child in need of care.

How are the needs and well-being of the children in your care assessed and addressed?

We have a team of social workers who regularly visit the children in our care to assess their needs and well-being. We also work closely with their schools, healthcare providers, and other professionals to ensure that their needs are being met. If any concerns arise, we take prompt action to address them.

What type of training and support do you offer to foster parents?

We offer a comprehensive training program to all of our foster parents, which covers topics such as child development, trauma-informed care, and behavior management. We also provide ongoing support through regular meetings with a social worker, access to support groups, and 24/7 on-call support.

How are placements made and how is the matching process conducted?

Placements are made based on the needs of the child and the strengths and abilities of the foster parent. We take into account factors such as the child's age, gender, and any special needs they may have. The matching process is conducted through a careful review of both the child and the foster parent's profiles, as well as input from our team of social workers.

What policies and procedures are in place to ensure the safety and security of the children in your care?

We have strict policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety and security of the children in our care, including background checks on all potential foster parents, regular home visits and assessments, and ongoing training and support. We also have a system in place for reporting any concerns or incidents, and we work closely with local authorities to ensure that all legal requirements are met.

Not possible to put 0 so had to give stars. What a bunch of crooks as they don't follow the law. They don't even bother to obtain evidence to review. Certainly not independent. Lie and hide information so you can't challenge. Should be shut down as they are a let down to all foster carers and propspective foster carers out there.
