Absolutely fantastic service from Jamal who has been so helpful from the moment that I enquired about my mini. We had a long drive to get to Colchester and Jamal always asked if we wanted a hot drink when we arrived and was very friendly. The drive was worth it as the customer service has been great, Jamal helped me as much as he possibly could and I now have my dream car. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always there to answer my questions, I could not have asked for better. All staff were also very friendly on the phone (believe that I spoke to Paul a few times) and Karen was also lovely. Would definitely recommend Inchcape Colchester, you will be well looked after!

Disappointing customer service, after arranging a test drive with Jamal. On the day of my test drive I was meant to be seen by Jamal but he was busy and made no effort to speak to me after having contacted previously to arrange the test drive. Getting past this the gentleman who was new asked me which car I’d like to test drive and discovered the insurance policy wouldn’t cover me. I was never told about any age restrictions prior to arriving. They let me walk out without offering to take me in the car or even look in the car for a taste of what it was like! Not the experience you expect at main dealer especially towards a potential buyer. I contacted Jamal after letting him know my thoughts I have been ignored hopefully this will get his attention.

Brad was personable and sometimes hilarious 😂 and made the buying process very relaxed. He gave a thorough hand over of the car, so I was familiar with all the new features before I even left the forecourt. I drove away yesterday in my 2nd Mini from that garage, a very happy customer, in a lovely special edition Clubman. Would highly recommend the cars, the service and the garage.

We were disappointed to have booked a test drive for a Mini Clubman at a time suggested by Jamal, only to receive a telephone call 45 minutes before the arranged time informing us that the car had now been sold. We had rearranged our day around this test drive and at the very least expected a telephone call to ask were we still coming before proceeding the sale. Whilst we understand that people may book a test drives and not turn up it would of been courteous of the garage to have honoured our test drive booking.
