We hired this place for a family (18 & 5 dogs) party & we could not have asked for anything more. There are so many things for the children to do. We were in walking distance to pubs. Numerous walks. The cottages had everything you need. Lots of space & in excellent condition. A grate place to be.

We stayed here in July 2022, during the hottest week of the summer. Our room upstairs was next to the boiler which seemed to throw out a lot of heat, making our room even hotter. The area is lovely and there is much to see and experience. Alton is not too far away, and I would recommend The Rose and Crown for a pub meal, only 5 minutes away. There are also lovely walks in the area, and one circular route we discovered goes along an old railway line, and part of the Writer's Way. One member of our family is disabled and we found that that the accommodation in the Middletown lodge was ideal for our requirements. There is a ramp leading up to the lodge, and the wet room for showers was excellent. (Picture attached) I would be happy to recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay.

4 bedroom but not one working shower cubicle. There was a shower in one of the baths but this didn’t have a shower curtain so was very difficult to use.
