FAQ

What is your experience and training in craniosacral therapy?

At In the Breathing Space Massage, we have extensive training and experience in craniosacral therapy. Our therapists have received specialized training in this technique and are certified to provide it to our clients.

How does craniosacral therapy differ from other types of manual therapy?

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive technique that focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the brain, spinal cord, and surrounding membranes. It differs from other types of manual therapy in that it is very subtle and can be helpful for a wide range of conditions.

Can craniosacral therapy be helpful for my specific condition or symptoms?

Craniosacral therapy has been found to be helpful for a wide range of conditions, including headaches, migraines, chronic pain, stress and tension, and many others. We recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our therapists to determine if craniosacral therapy is right for you.

How many sessions will I need and what can I expect during a typical session?

The number of sessions needed will vary depending on the individual and their specific condition. During a typical session, the therapist will use gentle touch to identify any areas of tension or restriction in the craniosacral system, and work to release them. Clients typically report feeling deeply relaxed and peaceful after a session.

What is your approach to integrating craniosacral therapy with other treatments or therapies I may be receiving?

At In the Breathing Space Massage, we take a holistic approach to healthcare and are happy to work with other healthcare providers to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for our clients. We believe that craniosacral therapy can be a valuable addition to other treatments and therapies, and will work with you to ensure that all aspects of your care are integrated and coordinated.

Genuine + Authentic & highly skilled. Many claim 'Thai Massage' but few deliver. I've had it for years, by some of the top teachers in the West - even a founder of one of the prominent schools. Daniel is by far one of, if not THE most skilled practitioners I've ever had. He listens, intuits the clients' needs, and was not afraid to apply the appropriate treatment. I also tried cranio-sacral therapy with him, which will take a few times to see but it was equally powerful. plus: he does house calls! Good massage is not a commodity, it's a relationship between practitioner and client. Daniel understands this completely. Highly recommend. *****

Had a thai massage today with Daniel and absolutely loved it! I was feeling really tensed up and aching everywhere plus had a migraine. The massage itself felt amazing and I'm now feeling so much more relaxed, the aches and pains have gone and so is the migraine! I would recommend Daniel to anyone.

I've had a few massages with Daniel now, the latest being a good strong Thai massage with lots of fabulous yoga stretches. Daniel's massage is very authentic Thai massage in that it can be very strong at times, but Daniel makes sure to ask how much pressure you like your massage before beginning and will adjust his pressure if you ask (or if you wince loudly enough!). So if you need a good stretch or have some knots that need working out, look no further! He also does more relaxing Deep Tissue massage (I'm sure I fell asleep more than once during my last 2 hour session!) if I've scared you with my description of the Thai massage! His prices are also very reasonable (he has various special offers available) and if you prefer to have your massages at home, he can come to you too! What's not to like?

I had an amazing deep tissue massage with aromatherapy oils specifically chosen for me. I was very stressed and tensed and had a shoulder pain for a couple of months. Just after one session my shoulder pain was almost totally gone, tension in the back and shoulders was gone too. Even more, that feeling of relaxation and lightness carried on for several days. I had never experienced that with other masseurs. I booked another 4 sessions and can’t wait to have a massage with Daniel again.
