This place is lovely. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. We went in on a whim as the selection on display outside caught our eye. In reference to a previous review I read, I can assure you the staff absolutely does not discriminate based on colour. There were three of us (we are all people of colour) inside the store looking around and we had great interactions with both members of staff. Prior to even seeing that review, when we left the store the first thing we all noted was how kind and helpful the staff were. Considering the stock is ceramic, we were careful not to touch anything instead the staff offered to take down anything we were interested in for us to get a closer look. Definitely will be going back there.

Pretty collection of plant pots. Disappointed with the lady at the counter. When I requested for extra bubble wrap packaging for the porcelain pots as I was traveling abroad; she rudely replied that she needs them for other customers and just cut me off; this could have been handled in a more courteous tone. Pity the customer service and tone doesn’t match upto the beautiful pot collection. Adding my response as I can’t reply to your response. Appreciate your polite response here, I didn’t have the same experience at the store; I was just told rudely’ additional wrap can’t be spared cuz I need to serve other customers the whole day’. That’s it. Nothing further was explained. Neither was I greeted even though other customers were. I just ignored this. The entire experience I felt I was treated badly cuz I’m of different color. I have been to other shops and had the same request (check my other reviews!) and no one treated me like this. Your pot collection is beautiful; I wish the my customer service experience was the same.

I never really leave bad reviews but the lady who was behind the counter shouted at me for touching the vases. She told me that I have to ask her for the prices (the price tags were not visible and there were no signs saying not to touch the products) I mean if you charge people 30 quid for a vase, how can you not let them have a good look at it? It was also strange that while other people were allowed to touch and look at the product, I was the only one who got told off. As a person of colour, this happens often in other places but I never thought I’d get this kind of treatment in London. I walked out because of it. I don’t need to get humiliated while I shop. I can't seem to reply what the business owner said below - let me respond to that here. No I was not touching your window display. The items I am referring to were on your shelf inside the shop. When I get discriminated because of the colour of my skin, I usually let it go. But I think it will not do anyone any service. I think as a shop owner, you do have responsibility in delivering a good customer service. I was not treated nicely today. Instead of denying that it happened, perhaps you could educate your staff more. A lot of the behaviours are subconscious. Where I come from, in Japan, we value customer service. We value negative reviews. We apologise if customers felt like they were not heard. And then we try to make our business better.

We bought a large green ceramic vase here during the summer. Shortly afterwards we began to notice that the table was damp and stained underneath it. So we had to use a plastic coaster and an old drink bottle inside it. Gradually the leaking got worse and also the inside rim started to deteriorate and break up. All from normal use: displaying flowers. We got in touch with the store and they weren’t helpful. My partner carried the vase all the way back to the shop yesterday and they didn’t want to know. They conceded there was a production fault but were not prepared to take any responsibility. Surely a large not inexpensive vase should hold water and last longer than a few months. We have purchased many items over the years but customer loyalty counts for nothing here. They have a steady stream of tourists to the Flower Market and therefore not interested in repeat business or providing after sales care.
