I recently booked my 87 year old mother in to see Dr Malik as her own dentist had retired and I have to say the care she received was impeccable. From the booking which Mrs Malik carefully organised so that my mother could see both Dr Malik and Stephanie, the dental hygienist, the same morning one after another, to the actual treatment. We know from personal experience that Dr Malik is excellent at dealing with nervous patients and his reassuring and gentle manner really put my mother at her ease. Similarly, Stephanie was very gentle cleaning my mother’s teeth and explaining to her what was happening at every step of the procedure. I can’t praise Dr Malik and his team highly enough – we are very lucky to have such dedicated professionals practising locally.

I Recently had an implant fitted and I am really pleased with my results. . I can’t thank Dr Malik and his team enough in the way that I was taken care of, the details and advice of my treatment was very thorough. In my initial visit I was a bag of nerves, Dr Malik recognised this and was able to put me at ease. I liked the fact that I was briefed every step of my treatment and that my concerns were acknowledged and addressed. Dr Malik and his team work really well together and most of all understood me as a patient. They go the extra mile with their care and consideration. In my childhood I had some horrible experiences at the ‘dentist’. And not just one. As I moved into adulthood I just stopped attending regular check ups and tried to look after my ‘dental health’ myself. The only time I ever had to seek a ‘new’ practice was when I may be in a bit of discomfort or pain which I knew wasn’t going to go away. A couple of years ago I cracked a tooth but the pain came some time later. Through networking (& other people’s testimonials) and not the words of the practice themselves, I discovered lots of good things were being said about ‘Improve Your Smile’. I rang first to explain I’d be a very ‘anxious new patient’ but the staff explained how they would look after me & that they did. I’ve been a very content patient ever since. I’ve had plenty of visits since & everyone is great from the receptionists, to the dentists & the hygienists.
