The Intro to Improv course by ImproQuo is an excellent way to get a taste of improv, whether you love comedy, want to push yourself out of your comfort zone, or just try something a bit different. The courses are carefully structured and allow beginners to build up slowly and feel comfortable about making mistakes - in a supportive environment with a close knit group. The activities are varied, fun and memorable, and peppered with tips and personalised advice for how to improve. If you get 'the bug' there is also the option of performing in an end of course show at a city centre venue. It is a testament to the teaching on the course that so many went from nervous wrecks in the first week to performing under a spotlight in front of a sell out crowd just eight weeks later. The experience is one to remember and you are likely to make friends for life. Well worth the money.

Attended an Intro to Improv class on a whim, with no experience, and found it to be very fun and welcoming. Teacher helped make us all feel very relaxed and comfortable with each other in the group very quickly.

Maggies workshops have been incredible, she has taught us so much in improv and comedy but wider to that she’s helped improve skills useful for every aspect of life including confidence in speaking to new people and in front of an audience as well as YES AND which requires a focus on listening to the other person - again crucial in life not just improv. Maggies experience and knowledge shines thru every session and game we play. There’s never a doubt she doesn’t know what’s going on and she cheers us on everytime! Thanks Maggie!!

Really enjoyed Edges intro acting workshop at Methodist hall in Manchester last night. He was very funny and engaging. The group were brilliant. Hope to do comedy slam on Thursdays at 7pm. And do pubby things as edgey said after . Hope I've spelt his name right. Brian Duffy tallo ho.

Beginners level 1 improv course. Fantastic course led by Maggie, who was brilliant at getting us working together as a group and engaging us in learning new techniques to work on listening, being in the moment, an building scenes with someone. Really recommend the course if you looking to have fun, meet nice like-minded people, and who is looking for a challenging but welcoming environment to build your comedy and acting skills.
