We were really impressed by how quickly the windows were fitted. We placed an order early December and all the windows were fitted before Christmas! Even in the freezing cold! Highly recommended!   I chose Imperial Windows as I had received a good service 6 years ago for replacement of a window. Unfortunately on a bigger job though their sales and survey service were good they failed to mention the quality of the safety restrictors they had suggested installing were of poor. Having noted issues with these and asked for a review I have spent 3 months chasing them to have an appointment arrangement with no mention of call out fee but then a follow up call from the owner Kevin who has not only shouted at me down the phone but spoken to me very rudely. He stated that is just how the windows are and the restrictors are of poor quality. They do not need to see them to tell me this and if I insisted on it they would charge me a call out fee! I would not recommend this company to anyone again. They are very keen and quick at taking your money but have a terrible after care service. After 3 months of trying to resolve this directly in hope of supporting a positive review I cannot. Please be warned. This review was responded to with a request for feedback to investigate. Unfortunately this has been a waste of time. It is clear they have breeched the Consumer Rights act by not responding to concerns about the quality of the product and not being willing to review the concerns without threatening to charge for a call out. They have also breeched their own T&Cs where it states clearly they will cover the hardware for a year. They won’t even review the hardware without charging for that courtesy. Their service has been flagged with trading standards. Unfortunately I have no faith that pursing the matter with them will result in a honest review of my concerns about the work and they will charge me for no service at all. The experience has left me feeling frustrated and I felt quite threatened by Kevin’s tone and behaviour and wouldn’t feel comfortable in his presence. From my experience compared to our trades people I have engaged with the owner Kevin is only interested in financial gain and not ensuring you are left with a quality product that satisfies the customer. One is left questioning their ethics and moral code. I wish I had read all the negative reviews which resonate the same behaviour pattern.

  Awful company. So many people having bad experiences. They got really aggressive with us and were demanding that we pay their final 200 pounds, despite leaving with half fitted windows as well as smashing our neighbours window.

  I have used Imperial Windows more than once over the last 4/5 years. I have had a new front door and recently had all my windows replaced. Excellent pricing and very pleased with the workmanship and the quality of the products. HOWEVER, one of the installers damaged my curtain rail in one of the rooms and I was told by the installer that they would replace it, but I would have to pay and obviously I was not happy with this. On contacting the company, I was told that they were not covered for this sort of thing and that the curtains should have been taken down before installation. This had never been mentioned and no other rails were damaged. To date I have heard nothing further.

  From the first consult to installation, Imperial Windows were excellent. I honestly thought a local company would be more expensive than the national brands but this was not the case. Lead time was set at 6-8 weeks but we had an install date within 3 weeks of placing the order! The installation team were brilliant. Arrived on time, worked in a clean and tidy manner and the quality of the work is fantastic. Everything just went to plan and was easy, from my perspective. I will be recommending Imperial Windows to anyone looking to complete this type of work in the future.

  Top service. The team were great to work with from the first meeting all the way through to completion. Their price was cheaper than the national brands and customer service was fantastic. Imperial windows met our every need and we will be recommending them to anyone doing home upgrades.
