Food was so nice. All fresh and delicious and big portions. Experience was, however, tainted by the unpleasant manager. I booked the table by phone a few weeks ago and was told I'd be receiving a follow up call at some point to pay a deposit. That follow up call was three times all on one day at 12pm 1pm and 6pm while I was at work two days before the reservation. By the time I got home and saw the voicemails they had already given my table away! I cannot answer my phone at work. The staff tried to insist that they'd called me multiple times the previous day but I had the logs infront of me and it clearly wasn't true, they just wanted to justify giving my table away, and if they check their call logs they will know the truth. We were seated at the sister restaurant over the road in the end, and the food was so lovely, but the manager spoke to me like a parent telling off his child over the phone and it made me so sad.

A wonderful dining experience. Everything was perfect: service, atmosphere, food. We had the white bait and calamari for starters and both were excellent. The calamari wasn't rubbery and had an excellent seasoned coating. The whitebait were delicious and a good serving for £4! For mains we had the tortellini and seafood pizza: both were exceptional. This is some of the best Italian food I have had, including from Italy. Cannot wait to go back and sample more of the menu. Thank you!
