Phone screen stopped responding - they offered £40 and 20 mins to fix or no cost vs. Apple £160. When they found it wasn’t just the screen broken gave me good advice to get Apple to try and repair and they would offer me a replacement phone. No charge and very helpful.

I have been scammed, nothing I can do but just want to stop others falling into this trap! Went in to get an SD card not knowing the price. I needed a 32gb one and got told that they sold them. It cost me £18! I thought this sounded a bit steep but not knowing the price I trusted it. I have looked at other places since and found them for around £5, less than a third of the price.

SCAM, no other words to put it. Stay away, or they'll make your problems worse. They promised to order the part I needed (charging port), took a £10 deposit, promised to call me in 3 days, didn't call. When I called them in 4 days, they said they have the part (they lied) - they put a broken worn charging port salvaged from another device, that made the sound in the phone not work (it was noticeably missing the sound pins), and charged me £40 for it. The person at the desk was clearly very incompetent, he tried to put a micro-usb cable from the store's card reader into the physically broken usb-c port to 'check if it works'. I had to buy the right part and replace it myself, and then it worked. There's no way it was a mistake - they on purpose used a broken worn salvaged part, either because they forgot to order it, or decided to pocket the money.
