Always a lovely welcoming site. Quiet and tranquil pitch size, excellent facilities close to amenities, and Salcombe with all of its abundant charm. Location : 5/5 … More

Been here 3 times, both in the campsite and the shepherd huts. Campsite is beautiful and really well organised (e.g. thorough information pack before arrival), washing facilities are high quality and always clean, there's a corner shop on site (although it's been closed the last few visits due to the pandemic), and WiFi that's fairly reliable (at least in comparison to other campsites I've been to). Shepherd huts are clean and very cosy inside, great for couples or small families. Site is a 2 minute walk from a bus stop, and 5 min drive from a park and ride (although again it's been non-operational due to the pandemic). Overall the best campsite I've used in Salcombe, highly recommend!

Walkability: A reasonable walk into to the town quite hilly, using the back roads, not the main road. Easy walk to the farm shop. Dog-friendliness: Allow dogs

Great site for a Motorhome, 3 hardstandings near to the good facilities. Tap on pitch, black waste nearby but no grey waste. 40 mins flat clean walk to Salcombe, goes downhill a long way so £7 for a taxi back or the bus stop at the top of the lane. Not a lot else here bar Salcombe and beaches note but a lovely place. If supplies are needed at the top of the lane on the Right is a garden centre/cafe (you name it they sell it) so well handy.

Good campsite if you are in the right field. We were next door to the CL field, which had excellent views and plenty of space between and in front of our van. If you get put in the wagon field, it seemed to be a bit of a free for all. The toilet block is excellent, 3 toilets and 3 showes each for men n women, all kept very clean. Make sure you plan your route in Devon on 'A' roads only. We ended up on a 'B' road near the ring feeder cafe which was a nightmare. Also all beaches in the area require 'B' road access for a mile or more, and when you get to the car park you need to pay £10 for the day. Unless you're a National Trust member, but then you need to be at the beach for 9am to get a spot.
