Had to meet Phil and an pleasant nurse for emergency appointment who helped me figure out my pain issue, was waiting for an appointment for 360 scan to find out condition of wisdom teeth, I couldn't make it to the appointment due to pain so ended up in Illume for emergency appointment on Saturday. Fantastic, I got the scan I needed then and there and was back the next day unfortunately as I was crying all day as the pain became too excessive, when I got to Illume the next day I fell asleep with my head in arms in waiting room as I couldn't cry out anymore. The pain suddenly disappeared even though I was screaming the entire way there, but I explained and Phil loaded me up with injections so that I could definitely get a couple of good sleeps in while I was waiting for antibiotics to start working. Now I have the scan I need I can get onto the case to get wisdom tooth removed ASAP instead of waiting for the scan first. Highly recommended £150 seems like a lot but when it costs me that much to have a day off work it's well worth every penny. Forget about the NHS because it's too slow for a starters.

Excellent service from Illume recently. I had a sudden toothache and was seen the same day. The practice phoned me a few days later just to check how I was. When the problem returned the following week I was again seen within a matter of hours. The assessment of my problem was thorough, and the resulting treatment effective.

Illume is a fantastic dentist conveniently located in Cheltenham. They provided excellent pain free treatment of a bad tooth. I don't live close, and it is a bit of a trek for a visit to the dentist. But after my first appointment, experiencing the professional, really friendly atmosphere, I won't want anybody else looking after my teeth. You can take for granted the quality of treatment and sympathetic care. I really believe that you get what you pay for. Being with a 'cheap' dentist before taught me that it was just false economy; pay a bit more to get the job done right the first time is my philosophy.

Messed up my root canal which I had to pay for them to sort it. This lasted about a year before it broke again. They wouldnt fix the problem only file a big part of tooth off. Then they had the nerve to ask me for £175 for a scale polish! They quoted me over £800 for tooth whitening too. Very over priced for everything. Each time you go they are constantly trying to sell there "membership" scheme at £35 a month, they just wont take NO for an answer. It really is style over substance at illume. Would not recommended in the slightest.

I always used to go to NHS dentists so I was amazed to see the difference when I first visited the Illume practice. Illume's friendly staff always make me feel really welcome. They take the fear factor out of visiting the dentist and I come away feeling like my mouth is really clean. The practice is lovely and modern and parking is never a problem as it has its own car park.
